Terms of Service

The responsibilities we share when you connect accounts, collaborate, and publish through Spider Social.

Last updated September 30, 2026

1. Using Spider Social

These terms govern your use of Spider Social. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for that organization. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement.

Spider Social is operated by Engone Nze Davy.

For questions or requests about these terms, privacy, or data deletion, email davy@hackages.com. Include your account email and the relevant workspace or connected channel. Never send passwords or access tokens.

2. Accounts and workspace access

Provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials and API keys. Only connect accounts and repositories you are authorized to manage. You are responsible for the collaborators, permissions, agents, and automations you authorize. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Access may require approval. Feature availability and usage limits may vary by account. Any paid offering must disclose its price and billing terms before you purchase it.

3. Publishing and scheduling

You authorize Spider Social to store, process, and transmit content to your chosen platforms when you or an authorized collaborator or automation instructs it to do so. Review the destination account, content, audience, disclosures, and schedule before publishing or approving a post.

Scheduled times are targets, not guarantees. Platform processing, moderation, rate limits, expired permissions, outages, and network failures may delay or prevent publication. Check the recorded result and the platform before retrying a post to avoid duplicates. Disconnecting a channel does not remove content already published on that platform.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in the content you provide. You grant Spider Social a non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, format, display to authorized collaborators, and transmit that content as needed to operate the features you request. This permission lasts while needed to provide those features and handle applicable retention obligations.

You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions for media, music, trademarks, likenesses, and personal information. You are also responsible for advertising disclosures and the accuracy and lawfulness of your posts. Do not upload information you are not authorized to share.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Spider Social for unlawful content, infringement, harassment, impersonation, fraud, spam, or unauthorized collection of personal information. Do not bypass access controls or platform restrictions, expose other users’ data, introduce malicious code, or disrupt the service. Automations and API clients must follow the same rules as interactive users.

6. Social platforms and other providers

Connected services have their own terms, permissions, and availability. Spider Social is independent of those services and cannot guarantee continued access to their APIs. Use of the YouTube integration also binds you to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s data practices are described in its Privacy Policy.

You must comply with the rules of every platform you use, including any music, branded-content, and synthetic-media requirements. A provider may reject or remove content, change its features, or revoke access.

7. AI and generated content

Optional generation tools may use third-party AI providers to process the prompts and assets you submit. Outputs may be inaccurate, unsuitable, or similar to other outputs. Review generated material before use, verify factual claims, and obtain any necessary permissions. Spider Social does not guarantee that generated output is unique or free of third-party rights.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains the information we handle, service providers, connected platform access, retention, and deletion requests. Workspace owners are responsible for granting appropriate access and for the personal information they instruct the service to process.

9. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using Spider Social, disconnect your channels, and request account deletion. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, a security risk, a breach of these terms, or a legal requirement. Where practical and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Content already published remains subject to the destination platform’s controls.

10. Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide a reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free output, a particular audience reach, or successful publication of every post. Keep copies of important content. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or losses caused by third-party platform decisions outside our control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer or data protection rights.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will publish the updated version with a revised date and provide notice of material changes where required. If you do not agree to an update, stop using the service. Contact us to discuss a concern or request assistance.
